All applications received now will be considered for the 2026–2027 school year.

Once your application and transcript are received, you will be notified of your aptitude test date.

Transcript Requirements

To qualify for the aptitude test, your high school, GED, or college transcript must show a passing grade in Algebra.

• Transcripts may be uploaded directly during the application process
• If you do not have your transcript, you may request your school send it directly to us

Both the application and transcript are required. Applications without a qualifying transcript will not be processed.

Before You Apply

You must live within IBEW Local 743’s jurisdiction to be considered.

• Select Jurisdiction Map
• Enter your home address and confirm it falls within the shaded area

How to Apply

1. Click Apply Now
2. Review the pre-requisites
3. Click Submit Application Online at TradeSchool
4. Complete and submit your application

You will receive an automatic confirmation email once submitted.

Important:

• You cannot submit your application without uploading your transcript.
• If your transcript is sent directly to the apprentice office, it will be added to your account once received, and you will be notified that your application is complete.

Reminder

An official transcript showing a passing grade in Algebra is required.
If the transcript is not received, your application will be archived and not processed.
